Our clinic is one of the first to establish this technique, as we have been using liposuction and fat transfer since 1995.
Its goal is to replenish the lost fat over the years from certain areas on the face. This loss of fat and volume leads, among other things, to hollowing under the eyes, more prominent "bags," and a tired appearance. The results are truly impressive, entirely natural, and last for years.
Lipofilling - Fat Transfer: Procedure
The extraction of a quantity of fat (e.g., 20-30ml) is performed using local anesthesia and is painless and completely safe. The placement is again done under local anesthesia using special thin cannulas.
Fat is by far the best filler for various reasons:
- It can be safely used all over the face and lips.
- We can use a large quantity safely, resulting in a completely natural outcome that lasts for years.
- The estrogen produced by fat cells gives a glow to the skin.
- It can be combined with the PRP method, further enhancing its effectiveness.
- It is more economical compared to using equivalent amounts of foreign fillers, the cost of which includes material purchase.
Truly, we cannot praise this method enough. The only reason it is not more widely used is that it requires training and is technically more demanding than using foreign fillers. Also, it is more time-consuming as both the extraction and placement take approximately 2.5 hours.
How is the goal of the procedure determined?
We always request a younger photo to approach the image of the face while as we typically say, the fat we place "ages with you."

The duration of the result is estimated in years and depends on factors such as overall health, the person's age, and whether they smoke.
